• Participate in all stages of the software design lifecycle working in multi-disciplinary teams spanning cloud, embedded, front-end web/mobile, and product.
• Write clean, maintainable code, and perform peer code-reviews.
• Solve challenging scale, big data, and architectural problems.
• Build, deploy and operate applications in a Kubernetes ecosystem.
• Perform rotating on-call duties as part of production support.

• 5+ years of developing and operating highly available, large-scale distributed systems.
• Ability to balance short term engineering tradeoffs with long-term investments.
• Ability to communicate ideas, designs, and proposals effectively.
• Ability to see the big picture and build out concise, comprehensive, yet realistic project plans.

Plus but not required:

• Working experience TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Familiarity with AWS ecosystem, from infrastructure creation to service deployment (CDK or CFN).
• Familiarity with NoSQL.
• Familiarity with Java and/or Scala is a plus.
