We are hiring a backend developer to develop a backend system of Vani Application. Your responsibility would be to develop Java & Spring framework-based services running on a container-based Infrastructure.

In order to succeed in this role, you should be passionate about learning our services and should have a solid background in backend technologies, such as Kafka, Redis,Database(Mysql, PostgreSql) as well as testing frameworks like jmeter. Last but not least, you should have good communication skills with other engineers or other organizations.

Understanding services that mobile applications provide to customers.
Developing application services running on a K8s environment using Java/Kotlin under Spring framework/Spring Boot
Deploying the services using ArgoCD or Jenkins
Testing and debugging the application
Trouble shooting the bugs or performance issues.
Communicating with other engineers from different areas - such as devops, frontend engineers, data engineers as well as product owners

At least 5 years of relevant experience in the backend development area.
Thorough knowledge of backend technologies and standards especially Java or Kotlin language along with Spring Framework and Spring boot 2.0 or above
Capable of using varieties of well known S/W solutions, such as KafKa, Redis, Vault, Opensearch
Ability to identify and troubleshoot bugs/errors
Strong communication skills with other developers, POs
An analytical mind with problem-solving attitude
Fluent in English (written, speaking)

Education:

Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or field related to the products being developed required

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in doing performance tests and solving performance issues.
Experience in Payment Industry (authentication/authorization, online/offline payment process, Settlement)
Experience in EKS based AWS Cloud (or any other Cloud Infrastructure)
Managing deployment process using ArgoCD or Jenkins
Applying unit test codes for each functionality and performance testing script using Jmeter or other performance solutions
