QC ENGINEER

• Ensure a full understanding of the project scope and specifications with the BA/PM and/or developers.
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure thorough testing coverage.
• Design and execute test plans and test cases for assigned project which ensure that the project meets the specifications.
• Suggest suitable improvements to specifications for platform and projects.
• Review and update the test plan as scope changes or enhancements are made.
• Run system testing on assigned projects to ensure the final product adapt approved requirements.
• Record detailed information of test results (browsers, steps to replicate, screenshots, error messages).
• Report and track defects, and work with the development team to resolve issues.
• Direct concerns from Production resources in relation to testing issues.
• Continual review of the system testing procedure and making improvements/suggestions to the upper manager.

To be successful in this role you must have:

• Have 2+ years of experience in QA testing.
• Strong English is written and verbal communication is a must.
• Experience in testing for an E-commerce website.
• Ability to transfer business requirements into test plans and test scenarios.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Being meticulous, logical thinking, and attention to detail.

The following is considered highly advantageous:

• Have an understanding of headless architecture and experience testing UI.
• Experience in Agile development is desirable.
• Experience with testing tools such as Playwrite and/or Cypress will be a bonus.
