About the Role
We're looking for a Lead Solution Architect (Technical Presales) to own technical presales and strengthen solution architecture across the company. You will work with clients, Sales, and Delivery to understand business needs, shape practical solutions, and ensure proposals are commercially sound and deliverable. Solutions may cover custom software, integrations, data platforms, AI, infrastructure, cloud, and hybrid environments.
Work Location: Hanoi, Vietnam
Working model: Hybrid, work at client sites when needed
- Own technical presales from qualification and discovery through proposal, presentation, and delivery handover.
- Lead client discovery across business goals, systems, stakeholders, constraints, security, budget, and delivery priorities.
- Assess technical, delivery, and commercial fit, challenging unclear requirements and unrealistic estimates.
- Shape high-level architectures across software, APIs, integrations, infrastructure, cloud, data, and AI.
- Prepare proposal content, including scope, estimates, assumptions, risks, staffing, and implementation roadmap.
- Present recommendations and trade-offs to executives, IT stakeholders, and technical teams.
- Mentor Solution Architects and build reusable architecture, discovery, estimation, and proposal practices.
What You Need
- 8+ years in software engineering, solution architecture, enterprise architecture, technical consulting, or senior technical leadership.
- Hands-on experience designing and delivering significant solutions end-to-end.
- Strong client-facing experience in discovery, presales, proposals, or architecture advisory.
- Broad understanding of software, infrastructure, on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
- Experience with estimates, scopes of work, delivery planning, risks, or RFP responses.
- Strong commercial judgment and business English for workshops, proposals, and presentations.
- Experience leading or mentoring architects and technical specialists.
- Strong awareness of information security, data privacy, and client confidentiality, including secure handling and sharing of sensitive documents.
Nice to Have
- Experience in banking, fintech, securities, e-commerce, SaaS, or regulated industries.
- Experience with data platforms, AI/ML, or agentic systems.
- AWS, Azure, GCP, private cloud, or enterprise infrastructure experience and certifications.
- Experience with RFP/RFI responses or multi-vendor solution design.
- Practical use of AI tools while protecting confidential information.
