• Collaborate with Data Analysts to design and develop data models.
• Build and implement ETL pipelines using AWS Glue, encompassing data extraction, formatting, uploading, and loading processes.
• Perform advanced data transformations using Python or Scala.
• Validate data transformations with AWS Athena.
• Load data into Oracle databases and perform verification.
• Optimize performance and ensure the highest quality of transformed and loaded data.

Core Skills:

• Expertise in programming languages such as Python or Scala.
• Extensive experience with ETL tools, database management systems, and data integration methods.
• Strong proficiency in both SQL and NoSQL database query languages.

Additional Skills:

• Knowledge of scripting languages.
• Familiarity with AWS platforms, including Glue (Console, Studio, Crawler, Job, Data Catalog, DataBrew) and Athena.
• Experience in the insurance or banking sectors.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong English communication skills are essential.
• At least 2+ years of relevant experience, mainly in ETL development, data analysis, and modeling.
• Emphasis on migration projects rather than data warehousing.
• Experience working in an agile environment, utilizing methodologies like Scrum or Kanban.
