READ THIS FIRST - IMPORTANT

This is a hands-on builder role for someone who enjoys ownership, autonomy, and seeing their work in production quickly.

It is not a management role and not a stepping stone into leadership. If you’re looking to coast, move into people management, or spend more time planning than writing production code, this role is not for you.

You will be writing and shipping code continuously. There is no one to delegate to, and progress is measured by what ships.

The first 6 months will be intense. Expect ambiguity, broken integrations, and real responsibility. We move fast, ship early, and fix things as we go.

High performers are rewarded. Strong delivery is recognised through competitive pay and cash bonuses tied to company performance and shipped outcomes.

If you enjoy building under pressure, learning by doing, and taking full ownership of real product outcomes, this role can be extremely rewarding.

About Us

Terminal 1 is being built by the same team behind Platform 1, a UK-regulated asset servicing business with over $4B in assets under administration and $35B in serviced assets, trusted by firms such as FreeTrade, Trading 212, and Titan Wealth

We’re now building the AI operating system for financial advisers - automating the endless admin, paperwork, and compliance workflows that slow advisers down. Our goal is simple: AI agents that execute entire workflows end-to-end, giving advisers more time for clients.

This is a high-autonomy, high-intensity role. Expect long hours, fast iterations, and real ownership.

Role Overview

This role requires high agency and high intensity. Progress is measured by shipped code, not plans or documentation. We value action over discussion and iteration over perfection.

We’re looking for a Full-Stack Developer who can work across the entire product: Angular frontend, .NET backend, Azure infrastructure, and AI integrations. You will be one of the first engineers on the project, working directly with the founder to build and ship features quickly using AI-assisted tools.

You must be able to move fast, adapt quickly, and build functional prototypes without over-engineering.

Vai trò & trách nhiệm của bạn

You will work on real product features inside our live codebase, including:

  • Building and improving the Angular web application
  • Extending the ASP.NET Core (C#) API and database layer (EF Core)
  • Working on the Capacitor mobile app (iOS & Android)
  • Integrating AI services (OpenAI Whisper, GPT-4, ElevenLabs) for transcription, summarisation, and workflow automation
  • Adding and improving real-time features using SignalR
  • Connecting to external systems (Google, Office365, Intelliflo API)
  • Implementing file uploads, storage, and retrieval via Azure File Storage
  • Shipping features without a designer — using templates, Figma, and AI tools
  • Using Cursor / Claude / v0.dev to speed up development and iteration

This role requires someone who can work in the existing architecture, understand our patterns quickly, and deliver useful features under time pressure.

How We Actually Work

  • We ship early and often. If something breaks, we fix it.
  • Action produces information — we don’t wait for perfect clarity.
  •  You are expected to push code regularly and communicate progress clearly.
  • Long silences or disappearing during work hours is not acceptable.
  • Most problems are discovered by building, not by planning.

Kỹ năng & trình độ của bạn

You Should Apply If…

  • You can design, build, and ship full-stack features independently
  • You have strong experience with Angular + TypeScript
  • You are comfortable writing C# with ASP.NET Core and Entity Framework Core
  • You can work with Azure, SignalR, and API integrations
  • You know how to ship fast and avoid unnecessary complexity
  • You’re comfortable letting AI write 50–70% of the code and know how to debug/refine it
  • You thrive in environments with chaos, ambiguity, and moving targets
  • You’re able to converse effectively in English
  • You enjoy writing production code daily and don’t want to transition into management
  • You’ve shipped features end-to-end on your own (frontend, backend, infra)
  • You are highly responsive and communicate frequently during working hours
  • You’re comfortable working through broken docs, unclear APIs, and enterprise tooling pain
  • You prefer shipping something imperfect over waiting to ship something perfect

Tech Stack

  • Frontend: Angular (TypeScript, Angular CLI), Capacitor (mobile)
  • Backend: ASP.NET Core (C#), EF Core, CQRS-like architecture
  • Real-Time: SignalR
  • AI Services: OpenAI Whisper, GPT-4, ElevenLabs
  • Integrations: Google APIs, Office365, Intelliflo API
  • Storage: Azure File Storage
  • Dev Tools: Cursor, v0.dev, Claude, Git
  • Testing: Karma (Angular)

Bonus (Strongly Preferred)

  • Prior experience with Azure, Microsoft Graph, or Teams bots
  • Familiarity with enterprise environments where permissions, tenants, and policies are complex and often poorly documented

  • Freelance engagement (we currently don’t have a local entity)
  • Strong working English
  • High autonomy and intensity

Location & Timezone

  • Fully remote
  • Must be able to work in UTC +7
