1. Financial Planning, Forecasting & Budgeting (50%)
- Support the Head of Finance & Commercial in developing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial plans, forecasts, and budgets for the entire organization.
- Build and maintain financial models to support strategic decision-making by the Executive Team and Board of Directors.
- Perform variance analysis between actual results and budgets/forecasts, providing actionable insights and timely recommendations for corrective measures.
- Monitor cash flow and propose solutions to optimize working capital management.
2. Commercial Finance & Business Performance (10%)
- Take ownership of in-depth analysis of business performance KPIs specific to the fashion and retail industry, including but not limited to: Sell-through rate, Gross margin by category/channel, Inventory turnover, Average Transaction Value (ATV), Conversion rate
- Develop performance analytics reports segmented by sales channel (offline stores, e-commerce, wholesale), product category, and business campaign.
- Deliver data-driven analyses and insights to support the Commercial team in making informed decisions on pricing, promotions, inventory management, and distribution channel expansion.
- Collaborate closely with Merchandising, Marketing, and Commercial departments to ensure alignment between financial strategy and commercial objectives.
3. Investor Relations & Due Diligence (30%)
- Take responsibility for preparing and maintaining investor relations materials, including: Investor deck, Financial factsheet, and periodic financial reports for investors.
- Participate directly in the due diligence process during fundraising rounds, M&A transactions, or other strategic deals.
- Coordinate with independent auditors, legal advisors, and relevant stakeholders during due diligence to ensure accurate, complete, and timely information delivery.
- Track and update the cap table, investment terms, and reporting obligations to existing investors.
4. Internal Control Advisory (10%)
- Advise and support cross-functional departments in establishing, improving, and ensuring compliance with the internal control framework in accordance with COSO standards or equivalent.
- Assess operational risks related to financial processes, procurement, inventory management, and sales operations.
- Develop and update financial policies, procedures, and SOPs to ensure transparency, accuracy, and operational efficiency.
- Conduct periodic reviews and propose process improvements across departments.
