MySQL Redis Database Administrator

We are looking for a Database Administrator to manage all databases used in Applications. This individual will need to be able to manage, maintain and optimize any database in use as well as measure the performance of the database. This individual will be working closely with the development team to deliver the desired outcome.

Define and perform daily, weekly, monthly, annual maintenance of all databases in used for Development, UAT and Production environments.
Measure, evaluate and assess all database queries used in all applications.
Create indexes in Databases to optimize query performance
Perform optimization on all databases used in all applications
Familiar and have experience in performing maintenance and optimization of databases including but not limited to MySQL, Postgres SQL, Mongo DB, MS SQL, REDIS. Postgres and MySQL experience is mandatory requirement.
Familiar with setup from scratch for resilient Multi-Master DB server with realtime replication for Postgres, MySQL, Mongo, REDIS, MS SQL.
Work closely with the development team to deliver the project outcome.
Indepth understand about infrastructure including but not limited to servers, storage, Middleware, Kubernetes, etc.

Minimum 3 years’ experience in roles similar to Database Administration.
Must posses can do attitude and focus on delivering realistic outcomes set.
Self-motivated, high level of dependability, organization, attention to detail, strong communication and problem solving skills required. Candidate must be able to efficiently multi-task in a fast-paced and challenging environment
Familiar with MySQL, Postgres, Mongo, REDIS and willing to learn about any databases.
Strong team player.
Working knowledge of commodity futures trading platforms is a plus
