We are looking for a curious and innovative Cyber Security Engineer to join our team and work on exciting projects involving machine learning and artificial intelligence.

Your role & responsibilities
  • Security Monitoring: Actively monitor security alerts from various systems (e.g., SIEM, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems - IDS/IPS) and investigate potential threats. 
  • Vulnerability Management: Assist in conducting regular vulnerability scans, analyzing reports, and working with IT teams to coordinate the patching and remediation of identified vulnerabilities. 
  • Incident Response: Serve as a first responder for security incidents. Assist in the investigation, documentation, and resolution of security breaches under the guidance of senior staff. 
  • Access Control: Manage and review user access rights across various systems to ensure adherence to the principle of least privilege. 
  • Security Awareness: Support the delivery of security awareness training for employees and answer security-related queries, helping to foster a security-conscious culture. 
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of security procedures, incident reports, and system configurations. Prepare regular reports on security status for management. 
  • Policy Compliance: Assist in enforcing security policies and procedures, and support internal and external security audits.

Your skills & qualifications
  • A minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in a cybersecurity role (e.g., SOC Analyst, Security Administrator, IT Security Specialist). 
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. 
  • Language: Good written and verbal communication skills in English are mandatory. Must be able to clearly articulate technical issues, write concise reports, and collaborate with international stakeholders.

Technical Knowledge: 

  • Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, firewalls, routing). 
  • Familiarity with Windows and/or Linux operating systems. 
  • Basic knowledge of common security threats, such as phishing, malware, ransomware, and DDoS attacks. 
  • Hands-on experience with at least one security tool category: SIEM, antivirus/EDR, vulnerability scanners, or firewalls. 
  • (Nice to have) Knowledge or experience with Cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), Cloud native security tools and services, scripting languages (PowerShell/Bash), and relevant qualifications
