Job Overview

As a Junior Software Business Analyst, you will act as the vital link between our clients' business objectives and our technical delivery teams. You will assist in eliciting requirements, documenting workflows, and supporting the implementation of software solutions. This is an ideal role for a detail-oriented professional with a passion for data who wants to grow their career in a fast-paced consulting environment.

1. Requirements gathering & Analysis

Collaborate with senior BAs and stakeholders to identify, gather, and document business requirements.
Analyze existing business processes to identify "pain points" and opportunities for digitalization or data-driven improvements.
Assist in defining the scope of data analytics and software development projects.

2. Documentation & Solution Design

Create clear and concise project artifacts, including Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Specification Documents (FSD), and User Stories.
Develop visual representations of business processes using flowcharts, wireframes (UI/UX), and data flow diagrams.
Translate business needs into technical requirements that can be easily understood by Data Engineers and Developers.

3. Project Support & Quality Assurance

Support the project management lifecycle by tracking milestones and ensuring alignment with client expectations.
Participate in solution validation by creating test cases and conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Coordinate with the technical team to ensure that the final product (dashboards, web apps, or mobile apps) meets the defined acceptance criteria.

4. Client & Stakeholder Engagement

Maintain proactive communication with clients to provide project updates and gather feedback.
Assist in preparing and delivering presentations or demonstrations of proposed solutions.

1. Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Systems (BIS), Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: 6 months to 2 years of relevant experience in business analysis or software project coordination. (Internships in software/data firms are highly valued).

2. Technical Skills

Methodologies: Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum frameworks.
Tools: Familiarity with documentation and task management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, or Microsoft Azure DevOps).
Design: Ability to create basic wireframes (Figma, Balsamiq) and process maps (Visio, drawio,…).

3. Soft Skills

Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills in Vietnamese; proficiency in English is a major advantage.
Analytical Thinking: A logical approach to problem-solving and a high level of attention to detail.
Adaptability: A "can-do" attitude and the ability to learn new technologies (like Low-Code/No-Code platforms) quickly.
