System Engineer (Server Monior) - Intern/Fulltime

System Engineer (Server Monior) - Full time:

• Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure platform
• Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools
• Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
• Monitor and optimize application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes
• Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies
• Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks
• Participate in the design of information and operational support systems
• Provide first level support
• R&D new technology

System Engineer (Server Monitor) Intern:

• Using monitoring tools such as Zabbix, you operate and monitor for cloud servers such as AWS and Azure on a rotating basis.
• Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools
• Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
• Monitor and optimize application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes
• Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies
• Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks
• Participate in the design of information and operational support systems
• Provide first level support
• R&D new technology

System Engineer (Server Monior) - Full time:

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject and 2 years of System Engineering experience in UNIX /Linux based environments
• Solid experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting UNIX /Linux based environments
• Experience in design high-availablity/cluster systems
• Experience in the administration and performance tuning of database and application stacks (e.g., Apache, Nginx, HAProxy, RabbitMQ, MongoDB, MySQL, …)
• Experience with monitoring systems (Zabbix, OSSEC, Splunk, …)
• Solid scripting skills with Shell Script, Python is plus.
• Experience with CI/CD and automation software (e.g., Saltstack/Ansible/Puppet, Jenkins,…)
• Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities

• Salary Up to $200
