SYSTEM ADMIN (EXPERIENCED AWS PLATFORM)

• System Admin is responsible for keeping all user-facing and other production systems running smoothly. System Admins are blend of pragmatic operators and software craftspeople that apply sound engineering principles, operational discipline, and mature automation to out environments and codebase.
• Tasks will include collaboration with others to define and execute our System Admin vision, continuously improving our process for detecting, responding to, and learning from production incidents, providing visibility into availability and performance metrics, optimizing tools and processes and reclaiming engineering time by substituting traditionally laborious human tasks with the automation of infrastructure, configuration and delivery.

• Commercial advanced experience with one of cloud providers: AWS Platform (preferred),
• Advanced knowledge of scripting language (i.e.: Bash, Python, etc.) Good knowledge of infrastructure provisioning and configuration, ability to manage day-to-day cloud based infrastructure (i.e: Terraform, Kubernetes , Ansible, Cloud Formation, etc.)
• Good knowledge of UNIX / Linux operating system including troubleshooting and system hardening
• Good experience with containerization-based technologies (Docker / Kubernetes / OpenShift preferable) with Service Mesh (i.e.: Istio, Linkerd, Maesh) implementation
• Good understanding TCP / IP protocol stack, building and managing clusters
• Experience with micro-services observability, log analysis and monitoring tools (Splunk, ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana, etc.)
• Experience with GIT, Maven, TeamCity / Jenkins / CircleCI, Nexus / Artifactory, Java build tools, Hashicorp Vault
• Commercial experience of continuous delivery, software release, advanced deployment strategies, disposable environments, virtualization
• Good understanding of Service Management processes, understanding of modern operations models with use of SRE paradigm

Nice To Have

• Agile / Scrum Methodology knowledge
• Good understanding of high level programming languages (i.e.: Java, Golang, etc.)
• Good understanding of cloud infrastructure design covering in-depth networking setup and security
