Senior Software Engineer, Mobile (iOS)

• Work closely with the Product, UX/UI and Backend teams to design, build and extend consumer and/or partner facing new products, platforms and features.
• Develop a new Experiment Platform to allow early access for our early adopters of new features.
• Develop a new CI/CD model to continuously deliver weekly updates to our customers.
• Develop a new Notification/Messaging system to allow better user engagement.
• Develop a new Secure Authentication framework for mobile devices.
• Integrate Google Analytics framework to deeply understand our customer’s behaviour and journey.
• Collaborate with QA on continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) as well as other automated and manual testing to make sure our app releases are always worthy of five-star ratings.
• Monitor the performance of the live apps and continuously improve them on both code and experience level.
• Raise the bar by reviewing each other's code, share knowledge, tips and tricks, and generally help out - within and across teams. This may include pair programming.

• A degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology or related fields.
• At least 3 years of experience in iOS app development.
• Up-to-date on the modern iOS programming paradigm, including the use of Swift.
• Strong UX/UI design exposure and experience in making apps work intuitively and with pixel perfect interfaces.
• Strong experience in CI/CD frameworks for mobile applications.
• You have a working knowledge of several architectural approaches, design, caching, data storage and security.
• Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, etc.
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services
• Experience with integrating front-end to backend with AWS stacks.
• Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards
• Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines
• Strong CS fundamentals (with competencies in algorithms and data structures).
