Mobile Development QA Engineer

Plume Design, Inc. is a Pre-IPO startup valued at $2.6B and has developed the world’s first service delivery platform for the smart home, delivering the world's best performing home WiFi system. Our mobile and tablet apps are the gateway to our experiences and the critical surfaces through which users interact with our products. We are looking to add to our Mobile QA Engineer team to support our manual testing of native IOS/Android mobile applications for smart-homes and smart-business wifi.

• Work with the developers and product managers to create a test plan for the Mobile features.
• Establish key performance metrics for the pass and the fail criteria of the test cases.
• Perform manual regression, acceptance, ad hoc and exploratory testing.
• Contribute towards automation of the test cases.
• Establish and improve our quality and development processes.
• Take ownership of our manual test suites (create and execute test scenarios).

• 6+ years experience to support our manual testing of native iOS/ Android mobile applications.
• Experience with Xcode and Android Studio.
• Fluency in spoken and written English is mandatory.
• Familiar with QA tools and processes (i.e. Jira, Confluence or TestRail).
• Knowledge of agile principles and practices.
• Basic knowledge of Git.
• Basic knowledge of programming (Kotlin or Swift is a plus).
• Strong passion for iOS or Android mobile applications.
• Basic experience with test automation tools is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of python is advantage.
