Game Backend (Golang)

• Develop, implement, and maintain backend game logic using Golang.
• Collaborate with game designers, front-end developers, and other engineers to ensure seamless gameplay experiences.
• Design and develop scalable, high-performance, and secure server-side solutions for multiplayer and real-time games.
• Optimize server performance to handle large numbers of concurrent users.
• Implement game features and mechanics, including matchmaking, leaderboards, in-game events, and more.
• Debug and resolve issues related to server performance, networking, and scalability.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, adhering to industry best practices.
• Collaborate with code reviews, provide feedback, and improve code quality across the team.
• Stay current with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in game development and backend systems.
• Ensure all the reports come out on time.
• Report to PM

Knowledge expert

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Engineering, Computer Science or relevant degree.
• Have 2+ years of experience in the same role.

Skills

• Strong analytical and English communication skills is a must.
• Experience with Golang Echo Framework .
• Experience in designing and developing API’S and Backend service on various relational and NoSQL databases as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, RedisDB.
• Have experience with Restful API, gRPC.
• Familiar with Microservice, Hexagonal architecture.
• Understanding of SOLID principles, clean code.
• Experience in writing Unit Testing.
• Experience with automated testing, CI/CD, Docker containers, caching techniques and Git is nice to have.
• Strong working knowledge of data structures, algorithms, object oriented design, Cloud
• Good at math and knowledgeable about shaders is an advantage.
