Back-end Engineer

• Code and test backend services in NodeJS.
• Design, implement and/or use RESTful web services
• Building scalable microservices-based system
• Understand the needs of the customer or business and utilize this knowledge to develop applications that are consistent with the specific needs and requests of the customer
• Participate in agile software development, prototyping and code reviews with a small team of developers

• > 5 years of programming experience, > 2 years of NodeJS experience
• Experienced in Agile/Scrum development environment
• Ability to write structured, well-documented and maintainable code
• Strong background in NodeJS (ES6)
• Practically experienced with REST APIs design and implementation
• Expert knowledge of developing projects based on NodeJS and Express framework
• Practically experienced with MongoDB
• Practically experienced with Redis
• Solid professional experience in using NodeJS unit testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, etc.)
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills
• Knowledge of and skills in designing/implementing microservices is a big plus
• Experienced in any of the following areas is a plus: clean code, ci-cd, optimizing database design,
• Good English communication
