Through TopDev x HackerRank Test, HRs shall have a more objective view of each candidate, avoiding bias or intuition, thus expanding the existing Talent Pool and quickly reaching IT personnel recruitment goals.

Thanks to the test, CV screening shall be faster and more accurate. Psychological and emotional factors should not affect the recruitment quality which may result in losing tech talents. Receive qualified CVs

For positions requiring HackerRank Test, TopDev will send qualified CVs to the employer via email

Receive candidates’ test results

Once a candidate completes the HackerRank test within the allotted time, the test results evaluated by HackerRank will be emailed to the employer by TopDev

Candidates assessment

The employer shall then reviews, evaluates, and proceeds the next recruitment process

TopDev x HackerRank will notify candidates via email and request them to access to do HackerRank test within a maximum period of 15 days from the date of receiving the email. Candidates can only do the test and record the results once.

In case any candidate does not complete the test by the specified time, the employer will receive an email from TopDev notifying the candidate didn’t complete the HackerRank test.

Candidate’s status related to HackerRank Test will be updated automatically in the employer’s Dashboard including: Submitted HackerRank test and waiting for results | Completed the HackerRank test | Did not complete the HackerRank test.

Developer

Candidates who apply for positions that require HackerRank test on TopDev x HackerRank platform will do the test here. When a candidate applies for a position requiring HackerRank Test, qualified CV will receive an confirmation email for successful application from TopDev. At the same time, TopDev x HackerRank will notify candidates via email and request them to access to complete HackerRank test within a maximum period of 15 days from the date of receiving the email.

Receive emails & complete the test

With valid CVs, TopDev x HackerRank will notify candidates via email and request them to access & do HackerRank test within a maximum period of 15 days from the date of receiving the email.

Candidates follow the instructions when receiving an email to complete the test on the HackerRank platform within allotted time. Please make sure your personal information stays the same as the application information.

Each TopDev x HackerRank test specifies a certain number of questions and a certain time to complete. Candidates can only do the test and record the results ONCE.

Once completed, the candidate will receive an email confirming the completion of the test from HackerRank. Candidates’ test results will be aggregated and sent to employers by TopDev x HackerRank platform. The employer then reviews, evaluates, and proceeds the next recruitment process.

Is HackerRank Test compulsory?

HackerRank Test is not compulsory for those positions without the “HackerRank” label on the jobs. Applicants may choose to do the test or not.

Who do HackerRank Test specify for?

HackerRank Tests specify all-level Developers, not recommended for Leader, Managers and Board positions.

How to recognize positions/ jobs requiring HackerRank Test?

All jobs with the HackerRank labels on the top right side shall require HackerRank assessment.

How many times can I do the assessment?

You can practice the Sample Test many times by different emails (register required), but only ONE TIME with the official test.
