Your role & responsibilities
As a member of the A12 Technical Professional Services team, you will support the development team of projects using the A12 platform through their life cycle. You will:
- understand all A12 products, their architecture and underlying technologies.
- collaborate with part of the Development team and the Business Professional Services team (which focuses on business experts rather than developers). Our colleagues are from Germany, France, the Czech Republic and the US.
- initiate projects.
- support pitches and proposals by developing customer-focused showcases.
- be responsible for, support platform upgrades in, and consolidate requirements across customer projects.
- add to developer-oriented training material and tutorials (text, videos, etc).
- help ramping up project teams by briefing and training them, sometimes also by contributing code.
- relay information about project milestones, requirements, dependencies and problems to the team.
- coordinate patch releases driven by problems of individual projects.
- play an active role in all our communication channels (confluence, JIRA, discourse, blog).
- contribute to quality assurance of technical release aspects (release notes, migration instructions, etc).
Your skills & qualifications

- General:
- Good verbal and written communication in English is required.
- Preferably +2 years of experience (flexible depending on how fast your learning and technical developing capabilities are).
- Degree in engineering or natural sciences (university or technical college).
- Technical:
- Knowing Java, JavaScript is a must.
- Knowledge of TypeScript, React and Spring eco-system is an advantage.
- Proven technology and implementation know-how with multitier web applications.
- Experience with software development tools, processes and architecture.
- Soft skills:
- Willingness to learn and build a deep understanding.
- Proactive in communication, taking responsibility and providing feedback.
- Be able to work independently and under pressure.
- Learn to understand how things work rather than finding out by trial and error.
- A passion for service-oriented collaboration and communication.
