Cooptalis Vietnam is currently recruiting a Technical Branch Manager (M/F) for one of our clients, an international software engineering company, located in Da Nang City, Vietnam.
The role is open to both local and expat profiles.
Your role & responsibilities
Reporting to the CEO based in the headquarter, the Technical Branch Manager is responsible for leading development teams and working on enterprise projects for customers. Expected branch headcount is 20+ people in one-year time, with the possibility of further growth. Currently, we assume a 50:50 split between project work and branch management tasks. As the branch continues to grow, the role may evolve more towards technology management.
- Plan and manage project deliverables at a strategic and tactical level
- Guide the development process and create a high-performing software development team
- Manage and report on project timelines and deliverables
- Manage all aspects of employee engagement such as hiring, training, and performance evaluation
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge of the teams through continuous training and coaching
- Help to develop solutions that balance cost, schedule, and business requirements
- Continuously improve software development productivity, quality, predictability, and the team spirit
- Hands-on various software development projects for international customers,etc.
Your skills & qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or related field
- From 10 years of experience with proven experience in technical lead/ engineering management
- Having previous experience as software developer/engineer, with .NET Platform and C# is preferable
- Proficiency in object-oriented design, design patterns, and software architecture
- Experience with DevOps way of working and automated testing
- Good knowledge of minimum one of the following areas:
- Web area technologies like ASP.NET (API and MVC), HTML 5, JavaScript, CSS; Angular/React/Vue
- Cloud/Services area technologies such as MS Azure
- Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
- Understanding of Vietnamese culture and have the ability to detect and resolve cultural challenges
- Able to effectively collaborate with business, IT, and development teams
- Excellent English communication skills, verbal and written
