Senior Java Developer (3-4 member team lead)

We are looking for someone who believes that the Online Education sector, in its current state, is developing at a fast pace in Asian countries and therefore presents an interesting opportunity to create value.

To break it up further, the following are the attributes we are looking for:

• Believes in our vision and shares our values to constantly reach higher for Education (in the US & in Vietnam)
• Someone who is equally comfortable working with B2B SAAS solutions
• Can easily switch among technologies and can lead other developers

• The person will conduct the product development in our ecosystem including 8 modules for Education, as well as being responsible for a Project Tech Team with 5-8 members.

Skill Set Required:

• In depth knowledge and application of Java, JDBC, Spring Framework, React JS,... web services technologies such as Spring boot Micro services, REST, SOAP, HTTP, JSON…
• Proficient understanding of web markup, including Web socket, HTML5 and CSS3.
• Exposure to an industry-standard database with awareness of database design and SQL performance tuning.
• Deliver fully tested source code complying with quality indicators objectives.
• Address technical aspects with Architect and functional aspects.
• Work experience on the transactional applications for low latency, high availability uses is a plus.
• Proactive in taking new enhancements and should be able to guide the juniors.

Qualifications and Profile:

• 4 - 6 years of experience in Java.
• Experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications.
• Experience in managing and implementing successful projects.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements.
