About Company
One On One English is an ed-tech startup based in Vietnam looking to disrupt English language instruction in South East Asia. We provide online ESL courses to elementary to high school students by connecting learners with North American teachers in virtual classrooms designed to optimize learning. Our vision is to become the leading education platform for quality language instruction and enrichment in SEA.
We're looking for a senior level BE engineer to help build out our CRM and LMS
Your role & responsibilities
- Working on building and supporting the backend of an internal CRM application
- Future opportunities to work on our Virtual Classroom Application
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle
- Write reusable, testable, efficient, and secure code to build backend features in Python (Django)
- Debug the programs to fix issues
- Refactor and optimize code to improve maintainability and performance
- Prepare technical documentation
- Report to Technical Lead and Product Owner
Your skills & qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience working with Python/Flask and PostgreSQL
- Continuously improve developer experience with efficient CI/CD
- Experience with automation tools such as Docker, Jenkins, Kubernetes
- Highly preferred if the candidate has experience working with any of the following: AWS, ElasticSearch, Celery, Redis
BONUS if you have experience with any of the following:
- DevOps
- React/React Native
- NodeJS
- RealTime technologies, Jitsi
- Experience working in the field of Education
