About Company
A functional consultant’s job is to analyze the current business processes and scenarios and forecast the consequences of installing new software on these processes
Your role & responsibilities
- Analyze company business process and process requirements, identify data conversion requirements, conduct integration testing and go-live preparation.
- Analyze the requirements and brainstorm the query logic to create business reports
- Coordinate data conversion activities with internal and customer resources;
- Assist customers in assessing and defining key business processes, policies, and procedures.
- Proactively identify and propose business process and/or system enhancements
- Provide consulting services on both new implementations and existing support projects
- Act as a liaison between the business functions and the technical team.
- Report the status of tasks and issues that are related to the projects.
Your skills & qualifications
- Certification is a plus (MM, SD, PP, FICO, QM, WM)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to deal with third party procurement systems and resources.
- Strong knowledge of technology and up gradation of software.
- Must be constantly update himself with new software, market conditions
- Effectively manage customer expectations and relationships;
- Ability to understand business processes from a customer perspective
- Ability to work in a team environment, effectively interacting with others
- Must be results oriented, and demonstrate a Can-do attitude – adaptability, flexibility and resourcefulness
