About Company
Our Pharmacity Organization needs a QA & QC Engineer to join our growing IT team. We are looking for a professional with experience in both information technology and business administration. The successful applicant will serve as the liaison between the executives and IT department of Pharmacity, leveraging the data the IT team extrapolates while also overseeing the selection and implementation of software programs. The ideal candidate for this position is detail-oriented and highly innovative. He or she will also be responsible for translating business needs to digital solutions, and vice versa, with current programs, projects and initiatives in mind.
Your role & responsibilities
- Review, Analyze and clarify requirement specifications on BRD or SRS documents
- Create test plans, test cases and test reports
- Prepare test data, Report bugs and errors to development teams
- Prepare test data and maintain data up to date
- Execute tests, observe and report bugs that arise during testing
- Cooperate with developers to investigate, reproduce and resolve bugs/defects
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
- Another assigned tasks from line manager
Your skills & qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in following (as preferable):
- Software Development
- Computer Engineering
- Computer Science
- Information System
- Have background in Computer Science/ Information Technology or equivalent
- Have at least 2 years of experience
- Knowledge and experience testing on Mobile (iOS, Android) and Web
- Knowledge and experience API testing - web services (RESTFul API)
- Knowledge and experience SQL or No SQL or My SQL
- Have positive skeptical thinking and good judgment skill
- Have ability to work and research independently and autonomously
- Have solid knowledge of software development, software testing, especially in testing techniques and testing methodologies
- Have experience with analyzing requirements and developing test cases based on those requirements
- Automation testing frameworks/tools such as Selenium is a plus
- Have knowledge in JavaScript is a plus
