QA (Manual) Tester

We are hiring a Quality Assurance (QA) Tester for assessing the quality of our Android and iOS application through manual testing.

Your responsibility would be to understand all the functionality of the applications and generate test cases and find and report all bugs from our mobile applications to ensure quality production. In addition, QA testers should look through the reported bugs from the voice of customers and try to regenerate the bugs.

In order to succeed in this role, you should be passionate about learning our business context and should have a solid background in executing tests, finding bugs. Last but not least, a QA tester should have good communication skills with other testers or other organizations if necessary.

• Understanding functions that mobile applications provide to customers
• Generating test cases based on the requirement
• Executing manual test cases
• Describing the error cases with detail steps and test environment’s information

Required skills:

• Ability to identify and troubleshoot bugs/ errors as soon as they arise
• Good communication skills and a keen eye for details
• An analytical mind with problem-solving attitude
• Thorough knowledge of methodologies of quality assurance and standards
• Reliable and Trustworthy
• Knowledge of tools, such as Jira, or other defect tracking tools

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of relevant experience as a manual tester in mobile applications
• Good in English (spoken)
• Basic knowledge of Fintech, especially the payment or rewards domain
• Basic knowledge of how android or iOS Application works (such as application lifecycle, notification, universal Link / deep Link, webview …)

Education:

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or field related to the products being developed required
