We are on the hunt for a brilliant Innovation Product Owner to join our team and help us drive forward with some out-of-the-box thinking and ideas. As the Innovation Product Owner, you will be responsible for leading the charge on innovative product development, leveraging emerging technologies and pushing the boundaries of what's possible. In fact, we’re looking for someone who can change the whole company through digitalization, transformation, and simplification!

Responsibilities

Collaboration: Shape the value: Identify needs & gaps from current business, internal stakeholders, and the market… to potentially create values for the organization through initiations of new digital products, platforms, and technologies. Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to ensure that innovative products and services align with the company's overall strategy and goals.
Process Improvement: Level up process: Define the key processes and gather expert to start improving processes radically. you don’t digitalize non-sense processes - you help to elevate them to the next level. Some of the best deliverables of a software is… having no software at all. Along with the business, you shape the journeys that bring real values to the organization (and cut down unnecessary one).
Team Leadership: Deliver stuff, digital stuff: Lead (and own the success of) the development of those innovative product ideas and concepts, leveraging emerging technologies and trends (either from the market or Heineken Global). Development teams can be in-house, our Innovation dev hub, or external partner and Global partner, or can buy/ rent a technology entirely. It’s up to you!
User Experience Improvement: Understand the customers / users: Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and preferences and use this knowledge to drive the development of products that resonate with our target audience. Depending on projects, users can be a normal beer drinker, or an accountant doing manual work, or a retail owner who barely knows about tech & app. That’s the exciting part of the job.
Agile Methodologies: Be the connector: Work closely with cross-functional teams to plan and execute the development of innovative products and services, using Agile methodologies and tools.
Technical Updates: Champion the Innovation: Keep in touch with the world to identify trends, technology and opportunities in the market, and use this information to inform product development decisions.
Data Analysis: Live by data: Use data and analytics to track the performance of innovative products and services, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions. Some of your projects might generate invaluable data as well.

Requirements

Hands-On Experience: 7-10 years of experience as a Digital Product Owner or similar role, with a proven track record of delivering digital products, services or transformation. A business domain regarding FMCG, Finance, HR, Process control & Improvement, Legal… is a plus.
Design Tools: Strong process improvement & process design skill. Six Sigma and similar technique proficiency is a plus.
Teamwork: Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals. In fact, you need to shape your story and convince people to follow!
Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization.
Project Involvement: Excellent project management skill, capable of driving projects from initiation to closing - sprinkled some pilots here and pivots there.
Project Lifecycle Involvement:: Good financial & commercial skillset (and mindset). At least you can sell your project with a sufficiently good business case.
Experience: Experience working in an Agile environment, with a relatively thorough understanding of Agile methodologies and tools.
Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decisions.
Learning Orientation: A passion for emerging technologies and trends, with a strong understanding of the latest developments in the market.
