Position Summary
You will be part of a small but talented team, working closely with the development lead in building out innovating products and pushing the top notch higher. You will take part in shaping the future through learning, researching, developing, defining and implementing high-end technologies, there is a significant amount of growth of you and to grow within the company and as the
company grows itself!.
Responsibilities & Requirements
- Develop and maintain back end services using Nodejs, Docker and the AWS stack
- Support and improve the continuous delivery process via continuous monitoring and review of data processing
- Support and work with other developers to ensure high standards are kept and always striving to push the standard higher
- Work with mirco-services; integrating services through API’s
- Be an active member of the development team, improving the code base and suggesting new tools, technologies and ways of working
- Work with the Product Owner and the Team Lead to prioritise features and improvements
Your skills & qualifications
Bonus Skills & Qualities - having one or all doesn’t a problem:
- Proven experience as a developer
- Strong knowledge of NodeJS, Docker and optionally AWS cloud platforms - we will be moving towards AWS in the near future
- Ambition and a hunger for growth and development
- Experience with CI/CD
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs
- Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
- Machine Learning, computer vision and 3D graphics knowledge will be a strong bonus
- Familiarity with code versioning tools {such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial}
- Active open-source contributor is a plus
