About Company
We’re searching for an experienced technical writer to join our R&D team and help us to help people understand complicated technical and health related matters with simple words.
You’ll help to convey technical details efficiently for an optimal customer experience, taking the lead to create, develop and maintain a comprehensive portal that will lead the way in content strategy for healthcare services.
You can do all of these things and more - while respecting your colleagues, supporting diverse opinions and backgrounds and contributing to our culture of ‘getting things done’.
Your role & responsibilities
- Understand all areas of health services provided, in order to translate complex data and information into engaging and thoughtful content for relevant, multiple audiences
- Copy-edit, proofread documentation from engineering and operation teams
- Develop, from scratch, several best practices related to improving the company’s documentation culture
- Define standards and guidelines to help everyone become a better communicator
- Collaborate across engineering and operation teams to manage projects related to technical documentation
- Provide direction and lead content strategy to build relevant content for go to market plans that create engagement with our community
- Build and maintain comprehensive library of content, including technical documentation
Your skills & qualifications
- A business/marketing degree, or relevant work experience
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills - Please submit portfolio samples of your previous work
- Experience producing engaging content for different media platforms including websites, mobile sites, social media and online forums
- An ability to evaluate and analyse complex information
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience working in technology startups or healthcare companies
- Experience with writing in a B2C setting
- Experience with HTML, XML, CSS, structured programming language source code such as Node.js (preferred), Java, Go, etc
