The Role
Perform as an experienced Full – Stack Developer within the software development team. Curently, we are looking for both Junior and Senior Software Developer
To help deliver AVTech’s strategy the successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Consulting with local and international team members to understand requirements.
- Ability to translate vision, concepts, customer requirements to high quality UI/UX design and into a tangible product or service.
- Working closely with team members and other stakeholders to identify problems and areas for improvement.
- Collaborating with PMs and BAs to deliver designs within the allocated timeframes.
- Software Developer eager to continuously improve and expand technical knowledge of analysis and engineering applications with focus on both front - end and back-end technologies.
- Coordinate, lead, and communicate with technical Team members both locally and in AU.
- Working with established methodologies and processes (Agile and SCRUM).
- Creating and designing front and back end applications.
- Supporting existing database systems.
- Preparing and maintaining technical documentation as required.
- Modifying and troubleshooting applications.
- Timely delivery of solutions within scope.
- Provide support to existing clients and existing database systems.
- Updating tasks, activities and time keeping within internal systems.
- Reporting progress to management.
- Provide support to existing clients in Australia and Vietnam.
- Executing the process of design, including Discovery, Design, Develop and Deliver to achieve the best outcomes.
- Preparing and maintaining application documentation as required.
- Provide support to existing clients in Australia and Vietnam technical team.
- Ability to translate vision, concepts, customer requirements to high quality UI/UX design and into a tangible product or service.
- Working closely with team members and other stakeholders to identify problems and areas for improvement.
- Travel when required.

To help deliver AVTech’s strategy the successful candidate has the following skills, experience, qualifications and personality attributes:
- Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 2 + years proven development/programming experience.
- Good written and documentation skills.
- Good presentation, time management and coordination skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Good technical experience in the following:
- Object-oriented design and programming.
- C#/VB.Net with ASP.Net, C ++ , JavaScript, MVC or Web Forms;
- Win Forms.
- Visual Studio 2017.
- HTML5/CSS3/XML.
- Javascript/ JSON.
- Mobile Apps: native iOS/Android/Windows Phone or hybrid/cross- platform.
- JavaScript, and modern client-side application frameworks such as AngularJS, EmberJS.
- XML or JSON Web Services (REST Style or WCF).
- MS-SQL 2012 – 2017.
- Preferred: Unit Testing.
- UI and UX – exposure/experience would be highly regarded.
- Preferred: Source Control experience: TFS or Git, Azure Dev Ops.
- PHP ideally in combination with a CMS or eCommerce platform; (not mandatory, but would be well regarded).
- SharePoint 2010 or 2013, farm/sandbox solutions and Apps (not mandatory, but would be well regarded).
- Qualifications
- Candidates with a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline.
- Microsoft Certification in the key software development technologies would be highly regarded.
- Other known industry qualifications and certifications would be an advantage.
