We need an experienced javascript developer who can build functions for our content management system "CMS" for low code users, design and build plugins, components, dialogs, and workflows using our CMS architecture.
You will participate in the design, development and implementation of Javascript based solutions using our CMS. Such implementations include the development of custom web applications, e-commerce site templates, and other general improvements and feature additions to our CMS system.
You will provide support to our CMS white labeled enterprise customers, and will be responsible for overall escalation management and technical solutions when incidents are reported; provide technical leadership and education to colleagues and team members related to CMS platform.
Your skills & qualifications
- Experience with content management systems, Liferay, Lucene, JSPs, CMIS, SOLR, Spring, Velocity, Struts, Dojo, OSGI.
- 2+ years J2EE/ Java web experience
- 2+ years development cycle experience using JavaScript, JQuery, JSON, AJAX, HTML, CSS and or Eclipse.
- Java servlets, JSPs, Struts, Hibernate, Velocity, Spring.
- Experience with Git, Gradle, JIRA and CI preferred.
- Experience of Apache/Tomcat, Glassfish, Websphere preferred.
- Databases: Postgresql, MSSQL, MySQL.
- Third-party API integration preferred: REST, Sling and SOAP in a production environment.

- Java and javascript in the context of plugins and webapps.
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, DigitalOcean, Google).
- Velocity, Elastic Search experience.
- Knowledge of Bootstrap, Foundation or other CSS responsive framework.

- Good communication skills in English or Chinese.
- Ability and desire to travel.
- Experience and desire to work within a fast-paced, iterative development environment.
- experience with Agile a strong plus.
- Degree in Computer Science, or relevant experience a plus.
