About Company
The Metadata Specialist will help Data Governance Team leader to establish the overall meta data strategy (acquisition, storage and management), as well as serving as the lead in designing the metadata model along with Enterprise Data Architect; Manage relationships with stakeholders. This role is responsible for helping business users manage metadata resources, provide trending and analytics on metadata progress (i.e. Data Intelligence), and is a subject matter expert for planning and estimation.
Your role & responsibilities
- Facilitate Conceptual Metadata Work Sessions
- Lead technical efforts to configure & customize metadata repositories
- Conduct logical data discovery of legacy and modem data stores, integration layers, analytical models, etc.
- Establish reference data management standards and policies
- Manage resources to capture, categorize, define and communicate the outputs of metadata discovery and acquisition actittities
- Design, manage, and implement the meta model
- Manage the metadata repository and associated tools
Your skills & qualifications
- Bachelor‘s degree in information technology, business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience required
- Experience in exploring data with any exploratory tools (SAS/NPylhorl/SQL etc.)
- Experience in banking sector
- Fast learning and flexibility to adapt to new things and work with multiple tasks
- Skillful in using Excel, PowerPoint and Word as the primary working tools
- Foster company success through a professional appearance, being courteous to customers with positive attitude
- Extremely strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Outstanding verbal, written and visual presentation skills English and Vietnamese
- Proven skills to work effectively across inrernal funclional areas in ambiguous situations
- Structured thinker and effective communicator, comfortable with interacting with other business functions of the bank
- Ability to work independently, establishing strategic obiectives, project plans and milestone goals
- 2 years Data Analysis / Data Governance / IT Auditing / Meta data Management
- 1+ years financial services experience required
