About Company
Pique is turbocharging digital businesses’ engagement and revenue growth with truly 1:1 content & product recommendations. We are looking for a talented and motivated Software Engineer with strong technical skills, a collaborative work ethic and teamwork spirit to join the SaaS Development team. You should be able to work in a demanding environment, collaborating closely with other developers and product managers in our projects.
In this role, you will:
- Above all, work with a young and dynamic team to create a SaaS solution, capable of serving personalized recommendations to millions of users
- Design and build the right infrastructure and patterns for scaling
- Build and maintain libraries serving product development
- Optimize code for performance, maintainability, scalability, and security
- Deploy and monitor SaaS services
Our current tech stack:
- Infrastructure: Cloud based (AWS, Azure, GCP), Linux
- CI/CD: Ansible, Docker, Jenkin
- Application layers: Python, Nodejs, Golang, Java, Javascript, TypeScript
- Distributed systems: Elasticsearch, Apache Spark, Kafka
- Databases: MongoDB, Redis, MySQL, Amazon RDS, Azure Cosmos DB
- Storage: S3, GCloud Bucket
- Load Balancing: Nginx, ELB AWS
- Monitoring: Cloud Watch, NetData, Sentry, Newrelic, GrayLog
Your skills & qualifications
Our ideal candidate has well-demonstrated experience with:
- TypeScript, bash, Python (not mandatory to know all, though that’s a plus)
- Big Data and Distributed System
- Amazon Web Service
- DevOps tools like Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible
- Collaboration tools (Git, Jira, Confluence)
- Docker and Kubernetes (is a plus)
On top of the technical skills, we are looking for someone with:
- University degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science or similar
- At least 2 years working experience with the requirements above and demonstrated logical thinking
- High drive to learn, adapt and contribute, all within an ambitious timeline
- Great sense of accountability and flexibility
