About Company
Your role & responsibilities
- You will work in our Ho Chi Minh, Ha Noi or Da Nang office as a Senior developer at East Agile. You will work directly, in English, with the founders and executives of new and rapidly growing
- Internet ventures to understand their vision and implement it.
- You will use eXtreme Programming (XP) and SCRUM agile development methods which include paired programming, Behavior Driven Development (BDD), Test Driven Development (TDD), and emergent business-value prioritized development.
- You will generally work on large scale sophisticated problems in small teams of two to seven where what you do makes a difference.
- You will enhance your skills in advanced Javascript and GoLang working with leading American and SEA companies. You will develop applications on Cloud platforms to support millions of users.
- You will stay on the cutting edge of Internet application development, business implementation and data analytics.
Your skills & qualifications
- Excellent logic skills.
- Excellent object oriented programming skills.
- Expertise in Golang, with at least six months experience.
- Commercial software development with at least one year of experience and modern code management and collaboration experience (Slack, github, etc.)
- Strong Javascript, HTML/CSS, and SQL.
- Good verbal English communications skills.
- Familiar with Unix (Mac OSX, Solaris, or Linux command line).
- Familiar with test driven development (TDD, BDD), refactoring, and programming in an IDE.
- Prefer experience developing applications on the Cloud, such as AWS EC2, Heroku, Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using relevant tools including production deployment methods (CI, Kubernates, Docker, etc.)
- Prefer ability to create well-designed user interfaces and create web-optimized graphics using Photoshop, Gimp or similar.
- Prefer experience working in an agile development environment using eXtreme Programming and/or SCRUM.
- Prefer a degree in computer science, mathematics or statistics from a top Vietnamese or foreign university.
- Willing to work closely and continuously with other programmers, almost never programming alone.
