Currently, we are looking for an experienced and possessed growth-mindset Database Administrator based in Ho Chi Minh (ideally) to join our interesting journey of building an Ecosystem to keep our corporation’s business growing rapidly, continuously and sustainable.
Your role & responsibilities
- Build database systems of high availability and quality
- Use high-speed transaction recovery techniques and backup data
- Minimize database downtime and manage parameters to provide fast query responses
- Determine, enforce, and document database policies, procedures, and standards
- Perform tests and evaluations regularly to ensure data security, privacy, and integrity
- Monitor database performance, implement changes and apply new patches and versions when required
- Apart from that, you may need to work on some of the tasks related to DevOps
- Analyze current technology utilized within the company and develop steps and processes to improve and expand upon them
- Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure
Your skills & qualifications
- You have a Bachelor's degree in Software, Computer Science or similar fields
- You have around 3 years' experience in DBA role or similar ones
- Hands-on experience with database standards and end-user applications
- Excellent knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, integrity, and PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with database design, documentation, and coding
- Knowledge in Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, Nginx, Git, Jenkins
- Familiar with Agile software development processes and tools
- Excellent working attitude, problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and communication skill.
- Previous success in developing and shipping a large-scale application with a userempathetic mindset
- Enjoy technical challenges and are eager to explore new technologies
