Currently we are looking for a strong Data Platform Manager to join our Tech team based in Ho Chi Minh
Your role & responsibilities
- Responsible for the entire lifecycle of data management in all aspects of data collection, processing, consumption, etc.
- Architect, design and build data infrastructure platform, primarily based on next gen data technologies, ensuring that the infrastructure is highly available and secure
- Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional/non-functional business requirements
- Set up infrastructure for Data visualization tools like Metabase, Power BI, etc.
- Work with stakeholders including the Executive, Product, Developer, etc… teams using advanced data modeling and analysis techniques to discover insights that will guide strategic decisions and uncover optimization opportunities.
- Maintain and support the data platform on a day-to-day basis
- Experience in team management and with strong leadership, be able to lead the team with vision and result-oriented
Your skills & qualifications
Specialized knowledge and skills:
- Experienced with data platform architecture and data modeling
- Experienced in manipulating, processing and extracting data from various source systems
- Comfortable in multi-terabyte production environments
- Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with OLTP, OLAP
- Strong PowerBI and/or Metabase, Google Data Studio and/or other BI tools
- Strong mathematical skills to help collect, measure, organize and analyze data
- Ability to work successfully in a global team environment
- Familiar with agile software development processes and tools
- Excellent working attitude, problem solving skill, critical thinking, and communication skill
- Enjoy technical challenges and are eager to explore new technologies
Education and experience:
- Graduated from university in software development, computer science or very closely bachelor’s degree in related fields
- At least 10 years’ experience in data position and 3 years management experience
- Comfortable working and communicating in English
