Job Summary
The Data Analyst in our Risk Analytics team contributes to GeoComply success by holding on to best practices with data analysis and testing projects. We expect that the ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, highly motivated to help create data insights, and has the managerial skills to lead a data science team. Will be a plus, if you have experience working in short, agile, iterative development cycles and have a great passion for working in fast-paced development process environments. You will work closely with Data analytics and Risk Research teams. In addition, you will have the opportunity to influence the development plan directly, research, and develop your ideas for the product.
Your role & responsibilities
What You Will Be Doing:
- Test current and past anti-fraud features on both client and server sides
- Visualise data in Kibana
- Conduct research on location spoofing to help teams remain up to date on current practices
- Research geo-blocking bypass methods to reproduce location spoofing and find similar attempts in the production data
- Review reports, both internal and client reports, and appropriate SQL/Python scripts
- Organize data in an easily understandable format using graphs and pivot tables
- Collaborate with the Reporting & Data Analytics Teams in Vietnam
- Collaborate with Machine learning team in Ukraine
- Accurately report hours spent on tasks in Jira
- Follow best practices and processes established by the team
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the company’s technologies, process and teams
Your skills & qualifications
About You
- At least 1-2 years of work experience as Data Analyst;
- Education or training in a relevant field;
- Good Windows, MacOS, iOS, Android knowledge;
- Strong Python knowledge (NumPy, pandas,etc.);
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in English (both verbal and written), with the ability to effectively communicate complex information in a simple manner;
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
- Highly organized and detail-oriented;
- Ability to prepare reports and present findings;
- Strong ability to operate independently and make clear and thoughtful decisions;

- Have knowledge of Elasticsearch
- Have knowledge of Deltalake
