Your role & responsibilities
- System Automation:
- Work with QA Analyst to determine which test cases can be automated.
- Convert the manual script for testing to automation script.
- Verify the effectiveness of the automation script able to perform the same as the manual script.
- Ensure the reusable of the automation script.
- Work out the format and setup of result report for each case in the automation system.
- Work together with the QA Analyst to setup the mechanism and source of test data.
- Automation Improvement:
- Determine, define and execute the strategy of the test automation.
- Determine and implement any performance improvement on test automation such as applying parallel execution.
- Determine and implement the inter-dependence among test cases in automation.
- Documentation:
- Prepare both technical and operation guide for tester to operate the test automation per type of cases.
Your skills & qualifications
- University degree in IT, Computer Mathematics or related subjects.
- Minimum 2 years experience majority on scripting and/or development on test automation.
- Experience on automation framework such as NUnit.
- Experience on TCP dump or other network analysis tools
- Understanding about the scripting for manual test is a must.
- Deep knowledge of programming for test automation.
- Experience on finance system and securities trading system is an advantage.
- Experience on writing test report.
- Experience using SQL on access data for testing, preparing test data is a must.
