Project Info :
It's an IoT project that allows for devices to send data long distances, up to 10 KM, to each other and then eventually to the internet where it can be used. It gives instant access to data far away even when the internet is not there. it can monitor devices.
Your role & responsibilities
We are looking for an Automation Test :
- Build automated testing tools and scripts for driving application tests.
- Define, develop, implement, and maintain the automation test scripts.
- Record and maintain source control of automation scripts.
- Participate in review of project requirements to understand test objectives, to provide input on testability of requirements and estimation for the testing activities.
- Provide the testing approach, develop the automation test strategy, a testing framework for automation testing projects...
- Design the test case, writing the automation scripts.
- Provide training and mentoring to test automation engineers. This includes conducting code reviews, training test automation engineers on new coding and testing methodologies, guidelines, and best practices.
- Contribute to the building of continuous Integration (CI) environment and ongoing Process improvement activities.
- Collaborated with the project team to understand project objectives, gather automation requirements, design automated tests, and troubleshoot issues.
- Participate in project meetings to discuss and agree on the automation testing approach.
Your skills & qualifications
- At least 2 years of automation testing experience in WEB UI or API testing or Mobile testing.
- Experience with Java and any other programming languages (C#, Python, Javascript)
- Hands-on at least one automation testing framework (Selenium, Cucumber, Appium, Protractor, Cypress, Robot, etc.)
- Proven experience in software testing including performance and security testing activities
- Working knowledge of agile development practices including TDD or BDD, continuous integration, and SCRUM
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated and driven to excel and deliver, able to handle stress with a positive attitude
