We are looking for an Anti-Fraud Analyst to join our team in HCMC, Vietnam.
The Anti-Fraud Analyst contributes to GeoGuard’s success by researching suspicious and potentially malicious software that may negatively impact our business and our customer’s business. This role will report to and take direction from the Risk Analyst Lead.
Our ideal candidate has experience with anti-fraud processes and SQL. You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You are able to interact daily with systems that are used in professional software development such as JIRA.
You are able to, and enjoy, working with multiple teams across locations, have good communication and interpersonal skills. You have experience working in short, agile, iterative development cycles and have a great passion working in agile development process environments.
Your role & responsibilities
Your key accountabilities and responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
- Assist in the maintenance of the database containing suspicious and potentially malicious software programs to mitigate negative effects towards the Company’s business
- Test RDP, VPN, Fake Location Apps, Rooted Apps and prepare deployment packages
- Research new threats in technology and software programs
- Maintain and update the database as new threats arise
- Maintain and improve both manual and automation processes
- Create requirements and test cases for the risk developer team
- Support other teams by generating ad-hoc reports according to their requirements
- Ensure reports are delivered at the requested level of quality
- Follow best practices and processes established by the team
Your skills & qualifications
- Intermediate knowledge with Microsoft Excel, Google Spreadsheets and other similar programs
- Experience with anti-fraud processes is an asset
- Experience with SQL is an asset
- Experience using professional software development systems such as Jira, Git and Confluence
- Results-orientated with the ability to meet deadlines
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Enjoy working in a team environment
- Willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
- Intermediate written and spoken technical English, enough to discuss issues with teams remotely
