KPMG Việt Nam
KPMG is a place where the curious come together. A place where you’ll enjoy diverse challenges and share your ideas with other bright minds to help to deliver innovative approaches.
Along with financial and management auditors, IT Auditors can be involved in financial or operational audit engagements to provide IT-related control assurance; or they can work as an independent team to assess a client & processes, systems, or projects as part of an IT audit engagement.
At KPMG, IT Audit is a function within Technology Risk Consulting. Our IT auditors are well-versed in both Business and Information Technology. The dual capability teaches us not only discipline, standardization, and professional skepticism, but also how to be open-minded, flexible, innovative, and adaptable. We frequently collaborate with other consulting teams to offer value to our customers & businesses through our holistic perspective.
We are looking for young and passionate fresh graduates or experienced auditors to join our team in Ho Chi Minh and Ha Noi city.
How can I determine if the job description fits me or if I match the requirements?
Recruitment requires considerable effort on both sides: for you to find us and for us to identify the right team members. As a result, we are here to assist you in taking the first step on your career path.
To begin, if you have the patience to read this lengthy job announcement just because it is in your hand, or if, out of curiosity, you attempt to familiarize yourself with some new terms via internet searches, you already possess certain qualities necessary to pursue an audit job. Nobody knows everything; being explicit and proactive in bridging knowledge gaps will assist you in succeeding.
Second, we are a service provider. Dealing with people, whether team members, coworkers, or clients, is a significant aspect of our job. You should have no issue speaking up or presenting your opinions effectively; nevertheless, you must maintain control of your temper and avoid being aggressive or contempt. Regardless of whether you are technically correct or not, exhibiting disrespectful is intolerable.
Finally, a passion. If you are a person who majors in Finance, Accounting, Auditing, Business Administration, or Commercial etc. but also has a hobby in computer and network, you are familiar with how a Web server works, have ever tinkered with BIOS or UEFI configurations, installed Windows, written some VBA macros, or even hacked around as a Script kiddie. Likewise, if you are a person who has a degree in Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or Management Information Systems, but is also comfortable with quality control and paperwork, has heard of department budgets and understands how money flows in and out of a business, or even if you have already invested in the financial market via stocks and securities.
Then how about combining your passions and academic skills to advance your IT Audit career?
If you did not major in both Economics and Computer Science, you still have a shot with us, but your efforts will have to be tripled to keep up with the basic knowledge that could be acquired during 2-4 years of academic study.
In conclusion, this guideline is intended to assist you in deciding whether to submit an application for an IT Audit position with KPMG. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you believe you are the appropriate candidate.
